Olowu of Owu Kingdom attended the Lagos SWAN United Nations Day celebration

In commemoration of the United Nations World Nutrition Month, the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba (Prof.) Saka Adelola Matemilola, attended the Lagos SWAN United Nations Day celebration. The event, organized by the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Lagos chapter in partnership with the Pan African American Chamber of Commerce (PAACC) and the Defence Headquarters, unveiled “Food Security and Sports Diplomacy” as strategic tools to reinvigorate the international relevance of sports in promoting peace, security, and development.

In the same vein, Olori Ambassador Adijat Matemilola was officially confirmed and honored as Distinguished Sports Diplomacy, Culture & Tourism Ambassador and Royal Matron.

This prestigious award, presented under the auspices of AIPS Zurich, Switzerland, and LAGOS SWAN, celebrates Olori’s remarkable legacy as a passionate advocate for community building, child welfare, and humanitarian support, positively impacting countless lives across various sectors.
